Water Source Heat Pumps (85 kW × 2 Nos.)
Challenge
The existing two high-temperature water source heat pumps supplying hot water to the humidifier system were not operating properly. Although the installed capacity was sufficient according to the heat load calculations, the system could not achieve the required performance.
Solution
We carried out three detailed site visits, worked closely with the client to investigate the complete system, verified the heat load calculations, and evaluated all possible causes of the problem. Based on the findings, We recommended replacing the existing units with inverter-type water source heat pumps in a one-duty, one-standby configuration to improve reliability and operational flexibility.
Result
The proposed solution improved system reliability, ensured continuous hot water supply for the humidifier system, reduced operational risk, and provided a more energy-efficient and dependable installation.
