Challenge
The client required the swimming pool heat pump to be installed inside an underground pump room where filtration pumps, sand filters, and other mechanical equipment were already located. The limited ventilation could have affected the heat pump's performance.
Solution
We recommended installing ductwork on the fan discharge to exhaust hot air outside the pump room. In addition, sufficient openings were provided to ensure a continuous supply of fresh air to the heat pump.
Result
The heat pump received adequate ventilation for stable and efficient operation, ensuring reliable performance and long-term system durability.
